The Glendora Christmas Parade is one of the most loved annual traditions in our community. As local realtors and parents, we’ve attended this parade many times, and we know what families need to have an easy, smooth day—especially when navigating crowds, strollers, snacks, and parking. This guide breaks down exactly where to park, when to arrive, and what to expect along the route so you can enjoy the event stress-free with your family.

Event Details

  • Date: Saturday, December 13, 2025
  • Time: 9:00 AM start
  • Location: Glendora Avenue through Glendora Village
  • Cost: Free
  • Best for: All ages

Arrive 30–45 minutes early if you want a curbside seat along the Village stretch. This section is always the most festive and the easiest spot for families to set up folding chairs.

Parking Tips

Parking in the Village fills quickly. Here are the easiest options:

  • Public lots behind the Village storefronts (arrive early)
  • Neighborhood street parking one to two blocks east or west of Glendora Ave (easy stroller access)
  • Library lot on Glendora Ave (usually fills by 8:30 AM)

If you’re bringing toddlers:

  • Avoid parking directly on Route 66—the walk is long and can get busy.
  • Bring a stroller with shade if the sun is out; the route has limited cover.

What to Expect

The parade includes marching bands, dance groups, floats, local organizations, classic cars, and plenty of holiday-themed performers. Noise levels are moderate—great for kids who don’t love overly loud events. Bathrooms are available at the Village businesses (many open early for the parade), the Library, and Finkbiner Park.

Pack:

  • Snacks
  • Water
  • Small blankets or cushions
  • Hats or light jackets (December mornings can be chilly)

Why We Recommend It

The parade captures everything we love about Glendora—community pride, local families coming together, and a real “small town Christmas” feel. It’s one of those events that reminds us why so many families choose to live here. If you’re new to Glendora or exploring neighborhoods, attending events like this is one of the best ways to understand the heart of the city.
