Best Parks and Playgrounds in Glendora: A Family Guide
One of the reasons property values in Glendora remain so high is our incredible park system. We have green spaces tucked into almost every neighborhood, making it easy for families to get outside.
Here are our top picks for where to play in Glendora.
Finkbiner Park (The Central Hub)
Located just north of the Village, this is the "Central Park" of Glendora. It has everything: a skate park for the teens, tennis courts, softball fields, and a bandshell that hosts our famous "Concerts in the Park" series every summer. The playground is shaded by massive oak trees, making it perfect for hot summer days.
Louie Pompei Memorial Sports Park
If your kids play sports, you’ll spend a lot of time here. It has immaculate baseball and soccer fields. It’s a hub of activity on Saturday mornings and a great place to meet other parents in the community.
Big Tree Park
A hidden gem on Santa Fe Avenue. As the name suggests, it features a gigantic Moreton Bay Fig tree that is over 100 years old. It’s a quieter park, ideal for a peaceful picnic or reading a book while the kids play on the updated equipment.
South Hills Park
For families with dogs, this is the spot. It features a dedicated dog park where your furry friends can run off-leash. It also has a playground and serves as a trailhead for hikes into the South Hills.
Parks build community. We love helping families find homes within walking distance of these green spaces.
