Beyond the Village: What’s Happening in Pasadena This Month
While Glendora is home base, one of the biggest perks of living here is being 20 minutes away from Pasadena. If you’re looking for something to do on Saturday, March 21, there’s a lot more going on than just the usual Old Pas shopping.
The Picks for March 21st weekend:
- For the Music Fans: The Pasadena Symphony is performing "From The New World" at the Ambassador Auditorium. If you’re into Juan Pablo Contreras or just want a high-end night out, this is the move.
- For Something Different: The Pasadena Playhouse (which is a national treasure at this point) is running Song of the North. It’s a multimedia shadow puppet production that’s actually really impressive.
- The Casual Crowd: If you just want to grab a drink and see some art, ArtNight Pasadena happened earlier this month, but the local galleries are still cycling through their spring collections.
As realtors, we’re always looking at how the culture and amenities in Pasadena affects property values in Glendora. When Pasadena thrives, the entire San Gabriel Valley becomes more desirable. People move to Glendora because they want the schools and the quiet, but they stay because they have access to this kind of world-class stuff just down the 210.
