As we enter the fall season, we are seeing home prices leveling off slightly. The median sold price is currently 98.9% of the original list price, compared to the all-time high of 104.6% back in April 2022. The good news for sellers is that inventory is still low at 2.3 months supply. The mortgage interest rate dipped below 5% in August and has steadily risen since then, causing buyers to submit less mortgage applications.
