In Glendora, the high school isn’t just an educational institution—it’s the center of our community’s social life. Many of us have deep roots in the Glendora Unified School District, and we love seeing the stands filled with "Tartan Red" every spring. As we move into the third week of April, the spring sports season is reaching its peak intensity.

On the Track: Mid-April Meets

The Glendora High School Track & Field team has been on a tear this season. This week is particularly busy as the athletes prepare for league finals.

  • Key Date: Tuesday, April 14, 2026. While the Varsity team is traveling to Walnut for a major league meet, the spirit in town is high as our local athletes rank among the top in the San Gabriel Valley.
  • What to Watch For: Keep an eye on our relay teams; the Tartans have shown incredible depth this year in both the 4x100 and 4x400 events.

Softball and Baseball: Home Field Advantage

There is nothing quite like a spring evening at the GHS diamonds. The Softball team, currently boasting an impressive .833 win percentage, is one of the most exciting teams to watch in the region.

  • Coming Up: Saturday, April 18, 2026. The Tartans take on Granada Hills Charter in a high-stakes tournament matchup. While this game is away, the community often organizes "caravan" support to cheer on our girls.

Why School Sports Matter to Real Estate

You might wonder why a real estate team cares so much about high school sports. The answer is simple: Community Identity. High-performing athletic and academic programs at GHS are a primary reason families choose the 91741 zip code. A school with a "winning" culture translates to a neighborhood with a "winning" reputation, which directly bolsters your property value.

When you buy a home in Glendora, you aren't just getting a deed; you’re getting a seat in the stands at Henderson Field. We encourage all our neighbors—whether you have students in the district or not—to come out and support these hardworking athletes.
